I really enjoy what I do. The  flexible hours have been and still are a huge benefit for me: we work from 7 a.m. to 3.45 p.m., Mon-Thurs, with an early finish on Friday which allows me to prepare for my weekend shifts in the Army Reserve. Over the years, I’ve taken on additional responsibilities, including serving as a senior Fire Marshal and First Aider, which reflects the trust and support within the Group.”

    Gill is based in Lymington on the southern edge of the New Forest. Lymington is a picturesque Georgian town on the Lymington river overlooking the Solent on the south coast of Hampshire, (UK). There is direct access to the harbour and waterside activities as well as the New Forest National Park for walking, cycling, horse riding etc.

    Transport links:  Lymington Town is served by the South Western Railway service to Brockenhurst (approx. 8 mins). Brockenhurst is on the main rail line to London Waterloo (approx. 1hr 34 mins). Lymington is also linked by the WightLink ferry service to Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight (approx. 40 mins).

Community & social

At Gill, giving back to our community is a core value. Gill supports initiatives like charity matching and Pennies for Charity and the company and employees regularly contribute to the New Forest Basics Bank. This year the RNLI is our chosen charity and we have a Gill team joining their Lymington 10K run.
